As an affiliate online marketer, I enjoy writing articles about things that interest people that also helps them market online or in some other way helps them to be successful. But after a while in writing my articles, I started to get a little dry and it just became more difficult to even come up with ideas let alone an entire article.
I began to feel a heavy weight on my shoulders as my ideas were drying up. I was even having trouble just thinking of a topic. It was at that moment I decided to say a prayer. Being Christian I asked, "What can I do?" In only seconds I had an answer. This is what came to me - "Get your tape recorder and start talking."
That answer to prayer is exactly what I'm doing right now. I'm talking into my tape recorder and later will type out what I am dictating to myself. In fact, this is the way I'm now going to create future articles. Once I started talking, article ideas began to come and it's much easier to make it conversational if I'm actually talking to you right now or prending to talk with someone. It's much easier and flows better as opposed to writing on a blank piece of paper.
So, what you hear is what you get. I'm just using my tape recorder to talk to you. I'm actually laughing to myself. It's funny to imagine the ease at being able to write articles. In fact, once you are knowledgeable about the market you are working in, this will even get to be enjoyable too. If you want to gain more knowledge about your target market, reading articles that are related is one good method.
Now, when you complete the recording, all you have to do is rewind the tape, listen (with the pause button ready) and type it out and paste it into your article submission provider. And there it is, this is exactly how it happened (I'm laughing) Could you see yourself doing this too?
Just so you know, I have over 400 words by only talking seven to eight minutes. Most article submission services ask for 300-700 words in your article, just check with them. And to get your word count, multiply one full line by your number of lines.
You will also need to do some editing. After you have typed it out, read it out loud to find out if it still flows as it did while you were talking. If something else sounds better as you re-read it, go ahead a make some minor changes.
That's all you do. I use a small portable tape recorder. It's a cheap model and works fine. I like the smaller recorder so I can move around. I feel more creative when I'm walking and not siting still. That works better for me. Decide what works best you and have fun writing articles.
